Training and Development


At EF SWARA we are committed to providing ongoing training and development for all our staff. Our philosophy is that ongoing development not only means better delivery of services to our clients but leads to a better working environment for all our teachers and staff.

 

The managers at EF Swara meet with each teacher and staff member individually on a regular basis and work with them to assess their strengths and weaknesses and decide on action plans for development. Teachers and staff receive regular feedback and assistance in completing development tasks, so they know where they stand and how well they are doing.

 

Training sessions are organised on various levels. Sometimes training can be done on a one on one basis, or in small groups. Training seminars and workshops can involve people from a single department, or a single centre. They can even involve people from different departments and from different centres working together.

 

Recently, our Academic Manager, Chris, and Customer Experience Coordinator, Gery, led an all-day training seminar for academic and service staff. The focus was on ensuring that the parents of our students get quick access to things like topics covered in class, explanations of methodology and classroom procedures, and their children’s progress and results. The different team members enjoyed working together in a training context and agreed that the event was successful. We have already seen improvements in how our different team members work together to achieve a goal.

 

Ultimately our goal is to ensure that everyone who joins EF SWARA has the opportunity to develop and become better in their role as their time with us goes along.
